About the role
The Technical Assistant to the Executive Director will act as a strategic partner, turning vision into operational reality. This role blends financial analysis, executive support, and process optimisation to ensure the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models, analyse market liquidity and track performance using complex Excel spreadsheets.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of budgets and departmental KPIs to guarantee accuracy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Executive Director and department heads, keeping strategic projects on schedule and within budget.
- Draft high‑stakes board papers, technical memos and professional correspondence.
- Identify bottlenecks in administrative or financial processes and propose technology‑driven improvements.
- Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, travel arrangements and documentation for high‑level meetings.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
- Strong grasp of financial principles, balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarise complex technical information.
- High attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data visualisation).
- Financial modelling.
