About the role
The Tax, Regulatory & People Services Analyst will support IGNO Professional Services in Lagos by preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance, and identifying tax‑saving opportunities. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in tax preparation, research, and audit support.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file corporate or individual tax returns, payments, and quarterly reports.
- Stay up‑to‑date with changing tax laws and research complex tax issues.
- Identify tax‑saving opportunities, deductions, and credits to minimize liabilities.
- Assist with financial and tax audits, prepare tax provisions, and manage account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams, external auditors, and tax authorities.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
- HND or equivalent in a related field.
- Knowledge of tax law and compliance.
- Technical accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
