Solar Technician – Installation & Electrical

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Solar Technician to lead end‑to‑end installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of off‑grid and hybrid solar power systems. You will ensure each system operates safely, complies with Nigerian electrical standards, and delivers optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, wire, and commission solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, and battery banks.
• Conduct site assessments and perform electrical load calculations.
• Diagnose and repair DC/AC electrical faults in solar installations.
• Ensure all work meets Nigerian electrical safety codes.
• Provide technical support to the sales team for client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate service records and installation reports.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years proven experience in solar installation.
• Strong electrical knowledge (circuit breakers, earthing, surge protection, cable sizing).
• Certification in electrical engineering, solar installation, or a related trade.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Physically fit for rooftop and confined‑space work.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Owerri.
