Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager to lead the online presence of James Okorie Technical Institute in Lagos. The role involves developing engaging content, growing our audience, and showcasing the institute’s programs and events across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the institute's social media platforms.
• Develop and implement social media content strategies and maintain a content calendar.
• Create engaging videos, Reels, TikToks, promotional content and cover events.
• Plan, shoot and edit high‑quality videos and photographs.
• Design flyers, social media posts, banners, adverts, thumbnails and other marketing materials.
• Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms.
• Write compelling captions and social media copy.
• Monitor trends, identify engagement opportunities and track performance with regular reports.
• Respond to comments, messages and audience interactions as needed.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote programs, events and achievements.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of proven experience in social media management, videography and graphic design.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
