Social Media Manager

About the role

Blue Creations Media is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of social media strategies for both client accounts and internal platforms. You will work closely with creative teams and clients to deliver engaging, data‑driven content that drives brand awareness and audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Manage and maintain accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
• Create and maintain monthly and weekly content calendars.
• Research trends, hashtags, competitors and emerging platform opportunities.
• Produce captions, posts, reels, stories, videos, graphics and other digital assets.
• Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, photographers and other creative professionals.
• Edit short‑form videos and social media content as needed.
• Schedule, publish and monitor content consistently across platforms.
• Engage with audience comments, messages and mentions, maintaining brand voice.
• Track performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports with actionable insights.
• Present strategy ideas and performance updates to clients during meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, HND or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation.
• Demonstrated success managing social media accounts for brands or businesses.
• Strong written, copywriting and editing abilities.
• Advanced storytelling and content creation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
• Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
• Ability to edit short‑form video content.
