Senior Tax Associate / Assistant Tax Manager

About the role

This full‑time hybrid position based in Lagos offers a blend of on‑site and remote work for a Senior Tax Associate/Assistant Tax Manager. You will lead tax compliance activities, prepare and review tax returns, and ensure strict adherence to Nigerian tax laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance processes for multiple clients.
• Prepare, review, and file corporate and personal tax returns.
• Provide expert tax planning and advisory services.
• Liaise with tax authorities and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high‑quality tax solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACTI, ACA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft suites.
• Experience with analytical tools for tax reporting.
