Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer & Solutions Consultant

About the role

Brilit Solutions is seeking a senior Microsoft Systems Engineer and Solutions Consultant to join its remote team. The role combines hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Defender, Intune and Azure with the design of client‑focused solutions. You will work directly with Nigerian clients, primarily from Lagos, and act as their trusted technical point of contact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and secure multiple client environments across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure and Entra ID.
• Configure Microsoft Defender (Endpoint and Office 365) and Intune according to best‑practice standards.
• Design, architect and document solutions that meet specific business requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day client support, resolve issues and maintain service level agreements.
• Administer Exchange Online, perform mailbox migrations and troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems.
• Operate within a PSA ticketing system, write PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, and lead technical onboarding for new clients.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, documentation and security baselines.
• Support pre‑sales activities, technical scoping and mentor junior team members as the practice grows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in an MSP or managed services environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration expertise with deep knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
• Proven experience configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Office 365, and managing Intune policies and deployments.
• Solid Azure and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration, including conditional access and identity protection.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with clients and deliver solutions from day one.
