Senior Marketing Manager (FMCG Packaged Foods)

About the role

A growing FMCG company, represented by Elevare Human Solutions Limited, is looking for a commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager in Lagos. The company is preparing to introduce and expand its Seasonings, Snacks and Breakfast product portfolio, and the successful candidate will lead brand development, consumer engagement and marketing execution, turning business objectives into strategies that build brand awareness, drive product trials and increase repeat purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand and category marketing strategies.
• Lead product launches, brand positioning and consumer engagement initiatives.
• Conduct market research and consumer insight analysis.
• Manage creative, media, digital and activation agencies.
• Coordinate product packaging, advertising and marketing communications.
• Develop and manage marketing budgets and campaign calendars.
• Drive digital marketing, brand visibility and consumer activation.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and marketing return on investment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, R&D and Supply Chain to support product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• Typically 8 to 12 years of relevant FMCG marketing experience.
• At least 3 years managing brands, launches, agencies or marketing teams.
• Strong Nigerian packaged food marketing experience and hands-on brand management experience.
• Demonstrable experience taking products from preparation to market.
• Experience managing agencies, marketing budgets and campaign performance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian consumers, general trade and regional market dynamics.
• Experience in digital marketing, consumer research and field activation.
• Experience in seasonings, snacks and breakfast products or closely related packaged food categories is particularly desirable.

The stated salary is N1,200,000 to N1,500,000 per month, and applications close on 30 November 2026.
