Senior Blockchain Engineer – Cross‑border Payments

About the role

Kredete is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to design and scale its blockchain‑powered cross‑border payment infrastructure. You will work on secure smart contracts, integrate multiple blockchain networks, and collaborate with product and compliance teams to deliver high‑performance financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain blockchain‑based payment systems that enable secure, efficient cross‑border transactions.
• Manage architecture and development of scalable blockchain solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts on Ethereum, Stellar, Solana, and other networks.
• Integrate blockchain technology with internal payment platforms, wallets, custodians, and third‑party financial services.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend and frontend engineers, and compliance teams.
• Implement security controls, conduct smart‑contract audits, and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Design transaction workflows, wallet management, and on‑chain/off‑chain reconciliation processes.
• Monitor node operations, transaction processing, and network performance, continuously improving the infrastructure.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging blockchain protocols, standards, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience in blockchain architecture, wallet management, and payment‑system integration.
• Proven track record designing secure smart contracts and handling scalability and security challenges.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and compliance stakeholders.
