Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

CloudPlexo is looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join its IT consulting team. You will act as a technical lead and trusted advisor, designing and delivering secure, scalable Azure solutions for enterprise clients while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect end‑to‑end Azure solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Develop migration strategies, including lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, and cloud‑native redesign.
• Create reference architectures, infrastructure standards, and technical blueprints.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions and implement monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Apply Azure security best practices, conduct assessments, and support compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR.
• Lead client workshops, presentations, and technical demos, producing high‑quality documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior Azure engineer or technical lead.
• Strong advisory skills with the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading project delivery.
