About the role
The Senior Accountant will lead day‑to‑day accounting and financial management activities for Quema Consulting Limited. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing budgets, cash flow and taxation, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will provide insights to senior management and supervise the accounting team.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and financial management activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Manage budgeting, cash flow, taxation, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and deliver insights to management.
- Supervise accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records.
Required profile
- Minimum HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Significant experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
