Sales & Marketing Executive – Retail Insurance

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially‑driven Sales & Marketing Executive to grow our retail insurance portfolio in Lagos. The role involves generating new business, promoting insurance products, and converting prospects into satisfied customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail market, generating leads through networking, referrals, digital channels and events.
• Present and promote retail insurance products, understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Support marketing campaigns, participate in promotional activities and identify new customer segments.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track leads, quotations and applications, and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers, driving retention, renewals and referrals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Economics, Mass Communication or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or insurance sales.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop prospects and close sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
