About the role

Multichem Nigeria, part of the Solevo Group, is seeking a dynamic Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its Home Care, Industrial & Institutional, and Personal Care (HHPC) portfolio across Nigeria. You will combine deep formulation expertise with commercial acumen to expand market share and drive sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements in the HHPC segments.
  • Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies to increase product adoption and market penetration.
  • Identify, win, and grow strategic accounts, building strong relationships across distribution channels.
  • Provide high‑level technical guidance and product expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply‑chain, and operations to align commercial objectives and ensure flawless delivery.
  • Represent Multichem at trade shows, professional forums, and client events to showcase HHPC innovations.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or key‑account management within Home Care, Institutional & Industrial Cleaning or Personal Care sectors.
  • Proven track record in HHPC markets with a well‑established network in Nigeria.
  • Strong expertise in formulation and application of home care, detergent, laundry and personal care chemistries.
  • Nice‑to‑have experience managing key accounts and coordinating local champion initiatives, or background with major specialty‑chemicals firms.
