Sales Associate – Retail & Fashion

About the role

Mayluv World is looking for an energetic Sales Associate to join its Lagos showroom. You will be the front‑line contact for walk‑in customers and online prospects, helping them find the right products and driving daily sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Engage walk‑in customers, understand their needs and advise them to close sales.
• Convert inquiries from WhatsApp, Instagram, website, TikTok, Facebook and Telegram into paying customers within set timelines.
• Track all leads on the lead tracker, follow up consistently and update the status until a buying decision is made.
• Increase order value by suggesting alternative and complementary products.
• Reactivate old or cold leads weekly with offers such as free installation, free delivery or discounts.
• Share high‑quality product images, prices, features and benefits instantly to build trust.
• Escalate unresolved objections to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain post‑purchase relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Keep the showroom presentable and support social‑media content creation.
• Submit daily sales reports, lead tracker updates and hand over accurate information during shift rotations.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.
