Renewable Energy Marketer

About the role

Primote Africa is seeking a Renewable Energy Marketer to drive sales and marketing initiatives for its solar and energy‑storage portfolio in Lagos. The role focuses on expanding market penetration, acquiring new customers, and promoting clean‑energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market share.
• Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate and individual customers through direct sales, networking and referrals.
• Promote solar systems, inverters, batteries and energy‑storage solutions.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and propose suitable energy solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for prospects.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure smooth project execution in collaboration with technical teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Represent Primote Africa at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and keep accurate records in CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in renewable energy, power, engineering or technology.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
