Reconciliation Officer

About the role
The Reconciliation Officer will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions by matching records across multiple banking and payment platforms. Working within a fintech environment, you will support the settlement process and help maintain the integrity of the company’s financial data.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of transactions across banks, digital wallets and payment gateways.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, documenting findings and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reconciliation reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
- Support the settlement team by providing accurate reconciled data and timely updates.
Required profile
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fintech, digital payments or regulated financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
