QA Engineer

About the role

FairMoney’s mobile apps serve millions of users who rely on them for credit and money transfers. As a QA Engineer you will own the pre‑release regression and validation for both iOS and Android, ensuring each release is stable and ready for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own pre‑release regression testing and make release‑readiness decisions for iOS and Android.
• Build, maintain and run a mobile automation suite in CI for every release candidate.
• Design end‑to‑end test coverage for core user journeys and conduct exploratory testing on high‑risk changes.
• Test on real devices, including low‑end Android phones and under poor network conditions.
• Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, draft automation, triage crashes and summarize logs.
• Audit AI‑generated adversarial tests and verify fixes to prevent regressions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile QA experience with a focus on iOS and Android.
• Strong judgment on what to automate versus manual testing.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tooling in testing and ability to discern its value.
• Fintech, payments or lending background is preferred.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to make release decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: Maestro, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest.
• Programming languages: Kotlin, Swift, Python, TypeScript.
• CI/CD pipelines and maintaining stable test suites.
• API‑level testing and device diagnostics (adb, logcat, Xcode console, Charles, Proxyman).
• Testing on low‑end Android devices and under poor network conditions.
