Project Manager – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Project Manager to lead and manage Oil & Gas projects in Lagos. The role reports to the CEO/Managing Director and is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget while driving business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle – engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and close‑out – ensuring adherence to approved budgets and timelines.
• Secure a minimum of $5 million in purchase and work order contracts each year from existing and prospective clients.
• Interface regularly with International Oil Companies, clients, OEMs, strategic partners and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and identify new opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans, Estimate Confidence Packages, budgets, risk registers and resource plans.
• Ensure 100 % safety attendance, conduct bi‑monthly safety meetings and proactive hazard‑hunt exercises.
• Produce weekly performance dashboards and reports for senior management and escalate issues within 24 hours.

Required profile

• 10–15 years proven experience as a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong network and experience dealing with IOCs, OEMs and regulatory bodies.
• Track record of meeting commercial targets and managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Excellent leadership, risk management and contract negotiation capabilities.
