Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect will lead the creation and development of architectural designs from concept through construction documentation for projects in Lagos. You will translate client requirements into practical, aesthetically‑pleasing solutions while ensuring compliance with all project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed design drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and specifications.
• Prepare and review construction documentation, ensuring accuracy, coordination and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural activities with structural, mechanical, electrical and quantity‑surveying consultants.
• Lead technical coordination meetings, identify design conflicts and propose practical solutions.
• Monitor design deliverables against programme timelines and flag significant risks.
• Participate in client meetings, present design proposals and incorporate approved feedback.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify that construction aligns with approved drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of architectural experience.
• Proven ability to lead design development and manage documentation for complex projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and coordination with multidisciplinary consultants.
