Program Assistant – Vaccine Innovation & Access

About the role

PATH’s Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access is seeking a Program Assistant to support vaccination introduction and delivery projects in Nigeria. Based in Kebbi State, the role provides day‑to‑day administrative, logistical and clerical support to project teams and ensures smooth coordination with national and state stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external correspondence, drafting responses and triaging queries.
• Proofread, format and maintain project documents such as proposals, reports, work plans, presentations and meeting materials.
• Organise and collate information for timely donor reporting and internal updates.
• Prepare and process administrative forms, including travel requests and payment documentation.
• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy filing systems using PATH platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
• Support logistical arrangements for project activities and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administrative or clerical support, preferably in a project‑based environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to obtain the PATH Proofreaders Certification within 120 days of hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, donors and local partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SharePoint or similar document‑management systems.
• Excellent proofreading and formatting abilities.
