Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing activities at Kenex Konsults International’s Lagos facility. You will ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This entry‑level role offers the chance to develop supervisory skills in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production workflows and assign tasks to staff.
• Monitor performance to achieve production schedules and targets.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and conduct routine inspections.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues, delays, and material shortages.
• Oversee proper use, maintenance, and safety of machinery and equipment.
• Track raw material availability and manage production supplies.
• Implement waste‑reduction and cost‑saving procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift handovers and reports.
• Train, coach and motivate the production team.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, warehouse and other departments.
• Report performance, challenges and improvement suggestions to management.

Required profile

• OND in Production Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising production teams.
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality control and workplace safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental procedures is an advantage.
