Product Designer

About the role

Bayse Markets is building Africa’s largest prediction market exchange, a platform where users trade on real‑world outcomes. As a Product Designer you will shape the core trading experience, turning complex market mechanics into clear, trustworthy, and fast interfaces that users rely on daily.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end UX for market discovery, trade execution, positions, portfolios, and settlement outcomes.
• Design flows that emphasize trust, correctness, and low error rates for high‑stakes actions.
• Simplify complex financial systems into intuitive interaction patterns and information hierarchies.
• Produce high‑quality user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI for both web and mobile.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to align on requirements, constraints, and trade‑offs, providing detailed specifications for implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing financial, trading, or prediction‑market products.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, define user experiences, and ship production‑ready designs.
• High ownership mindset with a focus on usability, consistency, and visual craft.
