Procurement Personnel

About the role

The Procurement Personnel will support Teestone Hotel and Apartment by managing the acquisition of supplies, equipment, and services essential for daily operations. This role ensures cost‑effective purchasing while maintaining the high quality standards expected in the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
• Purchase hotel supplies, equipment, food & beverage items, housekeeping and maintenance materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and related procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier contracts.
• Compare supplier quotations and recommend cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement requirements.
• Ensure all purchased items meet hotel quality standards and specifications.
• Track deliveries, resolve issues related to delayed or incorrect orders.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and better pricing opportunities.
• Assist in budget planning and cost‑control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hotel procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• OND in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or inventory management, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
