Operations Manager (P-3) – Temporary Assignment, Lagos

About the role

The Operations Manager (P‑3) will act as a Strategic Business Partner for UNICEF’s country office in Lagos, overseeing all core operational functions. The role ensures efficient service delivery, risk‑informed decision‑making and supports programme results for children in the operational context.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Business Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Public Finance or related field, or a professional accounting designation (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CPFA, Expert Comptable).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience at national or international level in operations management areas such as budgeting, financial reporting, facilities, supply chain, logistics, ICT or HR.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of an additional UN language is desirable.
• Experience in the development sector, UN system or large private/public organisations is an asset.
