About the role

The News and Reporters position is responsible for gathering, verifying, and delivering news stories across multiple media platforms. You will ensure accurate, timely, and engaging content while adhering to the highest journalistic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information on potential news stories, verify sources, and conduct interviews.
• Develop compelling news stories for print, online, and broadcast, following style guides.
• Report news through written articles, live broadcasts, and digital platforms, using multimedia tools.
• Maintain journalistic ethics, fact‑check information, and respect privacy and legal standards.
• Build and sustain a network of reliable sources, protecting confidentiality.
• Continuously update knowledge of current events, media technology, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 0‑5 years of professional experience as a news reporter.
• Membership in professional journalism organizations is preferred.
• Unquestionable integrity, strong news judgment, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multimedia tools such as audio recorders, video cameras, and editing software.
• Experience using newsroom computer systems and software.
• Effective use of social media platforms for news gathering and reporting.
• Strong online research abilities and familiarity with digital resources.
