Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in our Lagos facility. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of common medical conditions while ensuring high standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, obtain detailed medical histories and diagnose common conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment and care plans, prescribe medications and give clear instructions.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and request/interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and provide health education and preventive advice.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists and other professionals.
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and healthcare standards.

• Strong attention to detail and professional ethics.
• Residency in Lagos.
