Mechanical Maintenance Technician (CNG Fuelling Station)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation of our CNG fuelling station in Lagos. The role involves maintaining compressors, pressure vessels, pipelines, valves and associated equipment to guarantee safe and uninterrupted service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on compressors, pressure vessels, dryers, regulators and piping systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair or replace defective mechanical components.
• Carry out alignment, balancing and calibration of rotating equipment.
• Maintain compressor cooling, lubrication and auxiliary systems.
• Inspect gas pipelines for leaks, corrosion and wear; service and overhaul valves and pressure regulators.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and support shutdown or turnaround activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders on time.
• Adhere to HSSE policies, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and industry regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance within oil & gas or CNG operations.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, compressors and pressure vessel safety.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and reliability.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance plans.
