Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

About the role

Join Nestlé Nigeria’s Flowergate Factory as a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, supporting operational performance and the efficient use of manufacturing assets. You will drive cost‑effective, high‑quality production while championing digital transformation across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional support to improve operational performance, cost, quality and service of manufacturing assets.
• Implement and sustain best‑practice initiatives and business programmes within the factory.
• Set, develop and monitor standards and KPIs for line, labour, energy and material usage.
• Create and maintain dashboards and operational review platforms using Power BI, PowerApps, SharePoint and Teams.
• Conduct line studies to boost productivity and resource utilisation.
• Analyse loss data, lead focused improvement projects and eliminate waste across functions.
• Promote digital solutions, collaborate with stakeholders and train users on new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Food Science & Technology, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing excellence or related roles.
• At least 2 years leading Six Sigma/DMAIC projects.
• Strong operational experience within a factory environment.
• Proven ability to work on change or transformation programmes and project management.

Required skills

• Intermediate data‑analytics skills with MS Excel.
• Power BI development and reporting.
• PowerApps application building.
• SharePoint and Teams collaboration tools.
• Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology.
• Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools such as Capacity Summary Tool and DMO.
