Manual Driver for Medical Logistics

About the role

LifeBank is seeking a Manual Driver to transport medical products such as blood, oxygen and other supplies to hospitals and healthcare facilities across Lagos. The role combines safe driving with real‑time logistics tracking to ensure timely delivery of life‑saving items.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to deliver medical products to assigned locations.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips (fuel, tyres, brakes, oil, etc.).
• Secure and handle medical goods carefully during loading and unloading.
• Use mobile applications for dispatch updates, route tracking and delivery confirmation.
• Report any vehicle faults, accidents or delays to the Logistics Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Interact professionally with healthcare partners and facility staff.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent.
• Valid, current driver’s licence.
• 2–3 years proven experience as a truck driver.
• Strong knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ability to drive long distances safely and efficiently.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
