About the role

The Managing Director will provide strategic, operational and commercial leadership to position The Medical Establishment as Nigeria’s leading provider of chronic disease management services, focusing on diabetes, kidney and hypertension care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership to position the organization as Nigeria’s leading provider of chronic disease management services.
• Achieve company revenue and profit targets while increasing patient volumes by 55% year‑on‑year.
• Maintain patient satisfaction scores above 90% and a Net Promoter Score of 50+.
• Develop and sustain partnerships with private and public stakeholders.
• Implement technology systems to improve data accuracy and operational excellence.
• Ensure quality clinical standards, patient safety and improved health outcomes.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team and implement leadership development programs.
• Establish robust internal controls, risk‑management framework and achieve zero material audit findings.
• Guarantee 100% regulatory compliance and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience, including 5–7 years in a senior executive role such as MD/CEO, COO or Hospital Director.
• Proven experience in healthcare delivery, preferably chronic disease management (diabetes, renal care, hypertension) within hospitals, clinics or dialysis centres.
• Track record of scaling healthcare operations across multiple locations and driving revenue growth and patient volume expansion.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership and change‑management capabilities.
• Solid business acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning and long‑term financial sustainability.
