Logistics Officer – Corporate Sales

About the role

The Logistics Officer – Corporate Sales ensures timely and reliable bulk cement deliveries to corporate clients and project sites. You will monitor dispatch assets, track shipments, and coordinate with sales, plant operations, and customers to avoid stockouts and optimise asset utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Validate daily dispatch plans and optimise truck allocation, routing and delivery timelines.
• Monitor shipment progress, ensure adherence to schedules and resolve delivery issues.
• Provide data to support liaison between corporate sales teams and transport units.
• Manage EPOD processes and maintain accurate logistics records for audit.
• Track inventory levels under VMI, flag shortages or overstock situations.
• Report logistics KPIs such as order fulfilment, on‑time delivery, turnaround time and truck utilisation.
• Analyse logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or sales operations, preferably in cement or building materials.
• Experience handling bulk deliveries, project logistics or industrial distribution.
