Loan Officer & Relationship Officer

About the role

The Loan Officer & Relationship Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, managing client relationships and promoting the bank's loan and savings products. This role combines credit analysis with proactive customer engagement to drive growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and perform credit risk analysis.
• Monitor repayment schedules and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Market loan and savings products to prospective customers.
• Ensure compliance with CBN and fintech lending regulations.
• Prepare credit reports and recommend approval or decline decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Finance, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, or relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and fintech operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service abilities.
