Learning and Development Manager

About the role

The Learning and Development Manager will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes across Sundry Foods’ restaurant, bakery and catering network. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role focuses on building a culture of continuous learning and ensuring that all staff have the skills needed to deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual learning strategy, curriculum and budget aligned with business needs.
• Design and roll out e‑learning modules, byte‑sized video trainings and leadership development courses (LMDP, SLDP, MUMC, etc.).
• Manage the QSR Management Trainee Scheme, induction programmes for accountants and other new hires.
• Coordinate internal refresher courses, external vendor training and the bi‑weekly Knowledge & Experience Sharing Sessions.
• Track learning outcomes through post‑learning evaluations and produce regular training reports for senior management.
• Negotiate with training providers, oversee logistics for training delegates and ensure compliance with ITF training approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate learning, talent development or HR training functions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple programmes simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to develop metrics and assess the impact of learning initiatives.
