Laboratory Scientist

About the role

The Laboratory Scientist will act as the technical bridge between our diagnostic product portfolio and healthcare customers. You will educate clients on product use, support sales initiatives, and ensure high‑quality performance of diagnostic kits in clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on correct use and interpretation of diagnostic products.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of all company products, including usage, limitations, and advantages.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations for healthcare professionals, laboratories, and distributors.
• Support sales and business development by providing technical expertise during client engagements.
• Troubleshoot product‑related issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive product adoption and market penetration.
• Assist in validation, field testing, and quality control of products.
• Gather and document customer feedback and market insights to inform product improvement.
• Ensure all activities comply with quality and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in diagnostic technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, microbiology, biochemistry, science laboratory technology, or a related field.
• Valid practicing license (e.g., MLSCN).
• Minimum five years of experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory.
• Experience with rapid diagnostic test kits is an advantage.
• Prior exposure to sales, training, or customer‑facing roles is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to healthcare professionals.
• Commercial awareness, problem‑solving ability, and target‑oriented mindset.
