Junior Field Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Field Sales Representative to promote our business‑management software to small and medium enterprises in Lagos. You will work independently in the field, meeting owners and managers, demonstrating the solution and supporting new customers through their initial setup.

Key responsibilities

• Visit suitable businesses within the assigned Lagos sales area and engage business owners and managers.
• Understand how prospective customers currently manage sales, stock, debtors, staff, and business records.
• Demonstrate Data Foundry’s business‑management software clearly and professionally.
• Explain product benefits, answer questions honestly, and help onboarded customers complete their initial setup.
• Follow up with new customers, resolve early issues or escalate them to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect conversations, demonstrations, follow‑ups, objections, and outcomes.
• Work toward defined weekly activity and sales targets.

Required profile

• Confidence approaching and speaking with business owners face‑to‑face.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to explain products simply.
• Resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
• Willingness to learn quickly, accept feedback and improve.
• Good knowledge of at least one Lagos commercial area or experience working with local businesses.
• A reliable Android smartphone and confidence using mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently in the field and report activities accurately.
• High level of integrity, reliability and professionalism.

What we offer

• Remuneration: NGN 150,000 monthly fixed plus uncapped sales commissions.
