About the role
The Junior Auditor will support HR Business Partner Solutions in safeguarding the financial integrity of its hotel operations. Reporting to the Audit Committee, you will help design and execute risk‑based audit plans across all departments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and obtain approval for an annual risk‑based internal audit plan covering all hotel functions.
- Perform financial and operational audits of revenue, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, cash handling, and food & beverage controls.
- Evaluate internal controls, compliance with policies, delegated authority limits, tax regulations and labour laws.
- Investigate suspected fraud, conduct surprise cash and stock counts, and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, present findings to management, and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide advisory support to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and assist external auditors during statutory audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit or financial control.
- Strong knowledge of audit standards, risk assessment techniques and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate findings clearly.
