Junior Anti-Fraud Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Anti-Fraud Analyst to join our risk team in Ikeja, Lagos. In this entry‑level position you will investigate loan defaults, verify the authenticity of customer information, and help protect the business from fraudulent activity.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate high‑default accounts to determine whether the information provided was genuine or fabricated.
• Audit recently approved loan applications for red flags or missed warning signs.
• Review loan cases within 72 hours, confirm device ownership, and assess sales‑team compliance.
• Identify and flag fraudulent behavior such as falsified images, inflated incomes, or collusion with sales agents.
• Document investigation findings clearly for the field collection team.
• Participate in daily loss‑review meetings and analyze stolen‑case reports.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in risk, finance, customer service, or data entry.
• Strong interest in fraud prevention and a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills, able to explain findings without technical jargon.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data sorting and analysis.
