Janitor Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Janitor Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at Meditrack Limited's facilities in Lagos. The role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and managing staff schedules to keep our environment safe and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning activities across assigned facilities or shifts.
• Assign duties, prepare work schedules, and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Inspect offices, restrooms, lobbies, stairwells, and other areas for cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Train and guide janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper equipment use.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, report stock needs, and ensure proper usage.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or repairs to relevant departments.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Address staff or client complaints promptly and resolve them.
• Maintain records of attendance, performance, incidents, and cleaning checklists.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in janitorial or cleaning services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• OND or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in facility management, hospitals, schools, or commercial buildings is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
• Basic literacy for record keeping and report writing.
