IT Support & Systems Officer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support/Systems Officer to join Thronos Alliance in Lagos. The role involves delivering first‑ and second‑level technical assistance, maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth daily operations for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose, resolve and document incidents across computers, peripherals and network connectivity.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and system updates.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and Active Directory groups.
• Monitor system performance, conduct backups and implement recovery procedures.
• Support cybersecurity controls and assist with information‑security initiatives.
• Maintain an IT asset register and liaise with external service providers when needed.
• Train end‑users on technology tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft certifications or Cisco CCNA are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
