Investment Officer

About the role

The Investment Officer will identify and evaluate investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, providing advisory services and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend viable investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and develop investment proposals.
• Build financial models, business cases, and feasibility reports.
• Provide advisory services to clients, recommending suitable products and strategies.
• Monitor investment portfolios, prepare performance reports, and suggest adjustments.
• Maintain relationships with clients, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to growth strategy.
• Participate in negotiations, deal structuring, and transaction execution.
• Track market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in investment management, advisory, wealth management, or financial services.
• Experience in investment banking is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop profitable investment opportunities.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio management.
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Preferred age range: 25‑35 years.
