Industrial Spray Painter & Finishing Technician

About the role

The Industrial Spray Painter & Finishing Technician will join our manufacturing team to deliver high‑quality painted and coated metal components. You will work on doors and other metal parts, ensuring each piece meets our strict visual and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare metal components by cleaning, sanding, grinding, filling and degreasing.
• Apply primers, paints, protective coatings and finishing materials using wet spray painting and powder coating techniques.
• Operate spray guns, compressors, powder‑coating booths, curing ovens and related equipment safely.
• Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer ratios and perform colour matching.
• Inspect finished parts for defects such as runs, orange peel, poor adhesion or colour inconsistencies.
• Maintain equipment, booths and tools in good working order.
• Collaborate with production and quality‑control teams to meet schedule and quality targets.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE Trade Test or equivalent technical/vocational qualification.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in industrial spray painting or metal finishing.
• Proven experience with both wet spray painting and powder coating.
• Strong knowledge of metal surface preparation and coating processes.
