About the role
The Mall Nigeria is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function across all business units. You will be responsible for shaping policies, driving recruitment, and supporting employee development in a fast‑growing construction environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and frameworks for all units.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, from job profiling to onboarding.
- Manage performance appraisal cycles, probation reviews and confirmations.
- Coordinate training, learning & development and succession planning initiatives.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions and grievance resolution in line with Nigerian labour law.
- Maintain HR records, contracts, personnel files and leave management systems.
- Advise senior management on people‑related matters and organisational structure.
- Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, staff welfare and headcount budgeting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports for leadership review.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
- CIPM certification or membership of a recognised HR professional body.
- Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
