HR Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the people function at Stretch-it Concepts Limited, an IT & Telecoms company based in Lagos. The role will design and execute HR strategies, support talent acquisition across African markets, and advise senior leadership on people‑related decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and review HR strategies, structures and programmes aligned with business growth.
• Lead organisational capability building, workforce development and HR transformation projects, including digitisation and AI adoption.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for technical, engineering, sales and support roles across African markets.
• Oversee onboarding, succession planning, graduate trainee programmes and talent mapping.
• Conduct skills‑gap analysis, drive learning & development plans and manage leadership development initiatives.
• Champion performance appraisal cycles (OKRs/KPIs), continuous feedback and talent calibration.
• Manage payroll input, salary review cycles, total rewards structure and compensation benchmarking.
• Foster an inclusive work environment, handle employee relations, grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Develop, review and enforce HR policies, ensure compliance with labour laws and maintain audit documentation.
• Maintain HRMIS/HCM systems for real‑time workforce analytics and reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in strategic HR leadership and transformation.
• Strong experience in talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management and compensation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations and ensure legal compliance.
• Experience handling HR analytics and reporting in a fast‑growing environment.
• Excellent advisory skills to support senior leadership on people‑related decisions.
