Head of Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and results‑oriented Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, expand our market presence, and boost revenue within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Identify new markets, products, and revenue streams through market research and competitor analysis.
• Drive acquisition of new clients while nurturing existing relationships.
• Mobilize deposits, investments, and other funding sources to grow loan portfolios and financial products.
• Set and achieve targets for revenue, portfolio growth, and business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, investors, high‑net‑worth individuals, and strategic partners.
• Lead negotiations and close high‑value deals.
• Mentor and motivate the business development team, establishing targets and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with credit, operations, finance, marketing, and collections teams to meet organizational goals.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide market intelligence.
• Work with marketing to strengthen brand awareness and represent the company at industry events.
• Report on key performance indicators and prepare strategic recommendations for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in business development within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex client relationships.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
