Graduate Trainee – Finance & Risk

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Graduate Trainee position in Finance and Risk will support CoolBucks’ lending operations in Lagos. You will assist with day‑to‑day financial tasks, including account reconciliation, schedule preparation, financial reporting, underwriting and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Participate in loan underwriting processes.
• Support operational activities across the finance and risk teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any science discipline.
• 0‑2 years post‑NYSC experience with a valid NYSC discharge certificate.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
