General Accountant – Accounting Software Implementation

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant who combines solid accounting expertise with a passion for technology. The role involves working directly with clients to implement, configure, and support accounting and ERP software, ensuring that financial processes are streamlined and accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles, analyze client financial processes, and recommend improvements.
• Assist clients in setting up charts of accounts, budgets, financial reports, and workflows.
• Validate data migration from legacy systems to new accounting platforms.
• Participate in the implementation and deployment of accounting/ERP solutions, including configuration, testing, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Gather and document client business and accounting requirements.
• Deliver user training sessions, create guides, and provide first‑ and second‑line support.
• Troubleshoot transaction, reporting, and system configuration issues.
• Evaluate client workflows and advise on automation and control enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, finance or bookkeeping.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, Odoo or Zoho Books.
• Experience in software implementation or business systems support is advantageous.
