Fund Mobilization Officer

About the role

The Fund Mobilization Officer will drive the acquisition and retention of deposit and investment funds for the organization, targeting both retail and institutional clients. This role combines sales, relationship management, and market analysis to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Fund Sourcing & Sales: Promote and sell fixed deposits, investment products, and wealth‑building solutions to meet strict revenue targets.
• Client Acquisition: Prospect new retail and institutional depositors via networking, field visits, digital channels, and referrals.
• Relationship Management: Maintain long‑term connections with high‑net‑worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate accounts to ensure high fund retention.
• Market Analysis: Track competitor deposit rates, yield offerings, and prevailing financial market trends to position products competitively.
• Customer Education: Guide clients on financial planning, treasury instruments, and digital wealth‑management platforms.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all deposit and investment intake procedures adhere strictly to internal risk guidelines and regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACIB, ICAN, CFA is an advantage).
• 4–6 years’ experience in fund mobilization, sales, or business development within banking, micro‑finance, asset management, insurance, or related financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding large‑scale deposit/investment mobilization targets.
• Existing network of high‑net‑worth individuals, corporates, or institutional contacts is a strong advantage.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated, resilient with high integrity and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM or sales tracking tools.
