Full Stack Engineer – React Native (Mobile & Node.js)

About the role

BAS Finance is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on React Native to build and maintain its mobile financing platform. The role blends mobile development with occasional backend work, requiring ownership of both the client experience and the supporting services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship the mobile app for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Implement identity and credential verification flows, including NFC passport reading, document scanning, and biometric verification.
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL backend APIs for authentication, credit applications, and financing workflows.
• Own the mobile release pipeline – App Store, Play Store submissions, versioning, and OTA updates.
• Contribute to Node.js backend services when the mobile product requires it.
• Maintain and improve existing React Native codebases with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to translate product requirements into polished mobile experiences.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in React Native with shipped apps on both iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of React Native internals, bridging, native modules, and performance tuning.
• Experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs from mobile.
• Proficiency in TypeScript as the primary language.
• Familiarity with mobile release pipelines (App Store Connect, Play Console, Expo or bare workflow).
• Comfortable reading and writing Node.js backend code.
