Fleet Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to manage fleet administration, statutory compliance, vehicle documentation, insurance claims, government liaison and driver compliance. The role involves overseeing all aspects of fleet operations to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% completion and validity of all vehicle documents, licences, permits and insurance.
• Manage insurance claims, accident documentation and follow‑up with insurance companies and relevant authorities.
• Liaise with FRSC, VIO, Police, LASTMA/State Traffic Authorities, Federal & State Ministries of Transportation, Local Government and other government agencies.
• Manage driver licences, records, driver training and road‑safety compliance.
• Monitor fleet tracking/telematics and ensure timely resolution of offline devices.
• Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure 100% audit and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare regular fleet compliance and management reports.
• Ensure all fleet‑related government requirements and renewals are completed on time.

Required profile

• HND/bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in fleet/transport administration.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian fleet documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in insurance claims and government liaison.
• Good communication, coordination, reporting and Excel skills.
• Valid Nigerian driving licence.
