Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial planning, reporting and risk management functions at Trinity Financial in Lagos. The role will drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and produce monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and present insights to the executive team.
• Analyse market trends and competitor data to identify expansion or cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
• Oversee accounting, accounts payable and receivable teams, fostering professional development.
• Monitor liquidity, manage cash flow and optimise investment strategies.
• Develop long‑term financial plans, budgets and internal reporting processes aligned with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (2:1) in Accounting or Finance with at least 6 years of finance experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role within the banking or financial sector.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Current employment in a financial or banking institution.
• Proven ability to build and maintain financial models and support business decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience presenting professional reports.
